Online GHIN Scoring

Effective immediately, any member with a registered GHIN number can now post their scores online from anywhere they normally access the internet.

To post a score online, go to www.nysga.org.  On the right side of the home page, click on the Post Your Score button.  Enter your GHIN Number and Last Name or Club Number in the spaces provided.  Click the Next button.  This information should be easily found on the course scorecard.

While on the website, please take the time to read the information provided on the Equitable Stroke Control.  From the Home Page, click on the Handicap Services button in the middle of the page and click on the Equitable Stroke Control option listed in the drop down list.

The USGA Position Paper on the Equitable Stroke Control Procedure will provide an overview of the handicap system.  Please follow the outline when determining your score on a specific hole. You may or may not know that your existing handicap determines the number of strokes you may take on a given hole. Obviously this can make a difference when calculating your final score to be posted. You may also want to take some time while on the site, to read about all the other interesting tidbits: such as tournament results, who’s who, etc, etc.
